Two staff members of Lutherville Rock School, Connor Murray and Ben Kolakowski, will be having an album release show, this Friday, January 20, 2023 at The Recher.
Connor and Ben are part of The Dirty Grass Players, a Baltimore-based traditional bluegrass quartet which started touring regionally & nationally in 2017 after winning the band competition at the Charm City Bluegrass Festival. Since then they have played festivals from the Charleston Bluegrass Festival, Floyd Fest, Grey Fox, Bristol Rhythm and Roots, Cheat Festival, Delfest, 4848, and Palisades Bluegrass Festival among countless others.
The Dirty Grass Players is also comprised of Alex Berman on Banjo and Ryan Rogers on mandolin. Their ability to seamlessly transition from down-home bluegrass to spirited improvisation will quickly make you understand what they mean by Dirty Grass!
