Music Theory Monday

What are “chords”, and how do you play one?

A chord is when you play two or more notes at the same time. Most basic chords use three notes, called a triad.

Example: C, G, E

However, this pattern isn’t randomized. Chords come from stacking intervals (skipping notes in a scale).
